A networking group for young* adult cancer survivors

The Live2Thrive group was formed to help cancer patients and cancer survivors, age 21-45ish meet, share resources, make connections, and have fun!  This group wants to get off the couch, get stronger, live life and thrive!

There will be casual gatherings at CCC, special speakers and off site activities.  Some of the speaker topics will address questions like (but not limited to):

“If I’m dating, when do I tell that person I had / have cancer?”
“Will my cancer and/or treatment affect my ability to have kids?”
“What about putting my education / career on hold?”
“How do I get financial help while I’m not working?”
“How do I deal with the on-going, possible permanent side-effects of treatment?”
“My life has changed, now what?”

*We don’t put constraints on the word “young” so if you feel you can benefit from this group, please come.

Check out what’s coming up and stay tuned to this website or check our bi-monthly program calendar!!  If you have more questions about this group or the activities planned, please call us at 774-2200.
