A networking group for young adult cancer survivors

The Live2Thrive group was formed to help younger cancer patients and survivors,
meet, share resources, make connections, and have fun!  This group wants
to get off the couch, get stronger, live life and thrive!

Cancer for younger adults adds a lot of different complications to one's life than
it does for older adults.  This group addresses and discusses such issues as:

“If I’m dating, when do I tell that person I had / have cancer?”
“Will my cancer and/or treatment affect my ability to have children?”
“What about putting my education / career on hold?”
“How do I get financial help if I’m unable to work?”
“How do I deal with the on-going, possible permanent side-effects of treatment?”
“My life has changed forever...now what?”

For young adult patients, survivors & co-survivors, ages 21-45ish. We'll bring in dinner and provide an opportunity for you to share experiences and discuss issues of interest as you navigate the changes that cancer has introduced in your lives. Pre-registration required: 774-2200.

Check out what’s coming up and stay tuned to this website or check our bi-monthly program calendar!!  If you have any questions or suggestions about this group or
the activities planned, please call us at 774-2200.
